 Laurel Farm is a family run alpaca breeding business we established in 2004 with a small foundation herd of females bred in the UK. Numbers have increased from births within the herd and imported alpacas specially selected for their ability to enhance the quality of the herd.

The majority of the alpacas at Laurel Farm now have been bred on farm from the original start up herd and their progeny. As part of our breeding programme we aim for the best quality fleece combined with alpacas of moderate size so that they are easy to handle.

The farm gates are on the main road, thus avoiding the need to spend vast sums of money on advertising, and this together with the emphasis on keeping the alpaca husbandry as natural as possible enables us to sell very good quality stock at reasonable prices.

All breeding alpacas are registered with the British Alpaca Society (B.A.S.)

We have regular open days, usually on Saturday, when you can come and visit the farm and see the alpacas, angora goats and the beautiful alpaca wool and jumpers that we sell.
