The Golden Fleece

This bar and restaurant, of this one time public house, has been run by the Bloomfield family since 2003.  The business is run as a traditional restaurant serving delicious home cooked food in a calm and welcoming atmosphere. 

Carol, Paul, Kelly and Zak Bloomfield  are assisted in the restaurant by their excellent cook Jenna  and also by Janet and Sue.  Claire, Ryanne and Martin  also help in the kitchen and waiting at tables.

An old building at the rear of the property has recently been converted into a 5 en-suite bedroomed bed and breakfast unit, decorated to a high standard.  All rooms have TV, Wi-Fi, tea and coffee making facilities and hairdryers.  One room offers  facilities for the disabled. All rooms are self-contained, therefore offering 24 hour access. Breakfast is served in the restaurant and, of course, it is possible to take dinner there too without needing to drive afterwards.

The quiet and picturesque camp site is situated in a two acre paddock at the rear.

There are many fine local attractions and Lyme Regis and the Jurassic coast are just 11 miles away.  With all these advantages the Golden Fleece would be a great place to spend your holiday.
